Raw, dark and soulful songwriting from multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Richard Pollott, appearing tonight with full strings, double bass and percussion. With a style coloured by influences as diverse as Jeff Buckley, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell and Rufus Wainwright, his music nevertheless defies all comparisons or flavours of the day and remains uniquely his own. Performing tonight on his home turf, Richard has recently supported acts such as Robert Plant and Ezio at gigs and festivals across the UK.
