VWML ONLINE (http://library.efdss.org/cgi-bin/home.cgi)

This is an informal note to announce that VWML ONLINE goes live on Saturday 6 May at the Traditional Song Forum meeting at Cecil Sharp House. A full press release will be available in a few days.

The site will be linked to the library's main page (http://www.efdss.org/library.htm) and host a number of the library's indexes to its manuscript collections, plus the Roud Folk Song Index and images from the Cecil Sharp Photograph Collection. (See attachment for more information).

It is very much a website under development and the ultimate aim is to host the library's catalogues and indexes to all collections, together with artefacts, documents and other material relevant to the Society's education programmes. We know there are still a few typos and oddities on the site, mainly caused in the transfer of text,  but all factual errors will be mine alone.

Have a play and let us know how feel about it. Your input is valuable.
