I thought you might like to know of
this gig ~ Mike Dowling ~
is a superb USA finger-style guitarist/singer/songwriter. His repertoire
covers Jazz/Swing/Country & of course Blues...& as a session man in
Nashville for over 10 years he had to play anything that was thrown his
way. The result is a beautifully relaxed, fluid style that many try to
emulate but very few manage to get close! He is simply amongst the finest
guitarists in the world.
He plays Crawley Blues Club, The Railway Club,
Three Bridges, Crawley on Sunday night 9th April.....Doors 8:00pm & support
will be The Ruckus Blues Band plus special guests. I know several
Bottleneck regulars are going & so am I....it only takes about 40mins to get
to Crawley.
Our own Bottleneck Blues Club gig in Maidstone
on Friday 14th April is booking up nicely but I do have tables available for
what will be an outstanding night featuring....Jeremiah Marques & The Blue Aces + Lesley Atchisson.
I know it's Easter Friday but you
can't all have sticky grandchildren climbing all over
you!!
