Greetings to all

First off - everyone this week gets a TEXT-ONLY version of the newsletter. Unfortunately, when we were updating some lists this week, the HTML list was erased. So... if you want the GRAPHICS version of the newsletter, please e-mail Dan at mailto:dan_at_musicnewsnashville_dot_com and include HTML VERSION in the subject line. *** If you do not e-mail and ask for the HTML version, you will remain on the TEXT-ONLY list. Sorry 'bout any inconvenience this causes you. That said...
CMA Music Festival Week is done. They came, they say, they conquored and they went home. We're talking about the 141,000+ fans that hit town for what used to be called "Fan Fair." (Does anybody know the real story of why it's no longer called Fan Fair?) Music News Nashville covered many of the events and over 780 pictures have already been posted. Check them out at: www.musicnewsnashville.com/archives/photos/2006/musicfest/menu.htm. We will continue posting more as they are available, as well as articles and interviews. This issue of MNN is a PHOTO issue. The other things will be up later this next week.
Check out MNN to enter contests to win Brad Paisley stuff. Songwriters, check out the Competitions and Submissions page for contests you can enter. Want to know what's happening with your favorite artist? Check out the LATEST NEWS page every day. When it happens, MNN reports it. Do you like Broadway plays? If so, you'll want to make sure to get tickets for Lion King coming to TPAC this coming October for 6 weeks. Tickets go on sale June 10 and are expected to sell out quickly.
Make sure to check out the SHOWCASES AND EVENTS page on MNN for the latest info on showcases and other things happening around Nashville. Also, TODAY'S EVENTS lists all the clubs in town where you can go to hear live music.
Music News Nashville now has some merchandise. Yes, that's right... we're selling hats and t-shirts, with more to come. Get a hat and t-shirt today and show your support of Music News Nashville. Visit www.musicnewsnashville.com/merch/merch.htm to view the merchandise page.
