John Richardson from Northampton has brought over a brass band from Treme, a district of New Orleans hit by Katrina. They will be doing a series of gigs, but only one in London which will be open to the public.
That will be at the Lord Hood pub, Creek Road Greenwich SE10, near the DLR Cutty Sark,Maritime station. On Tuesday June 13th starting at 12.30.p.m.until 3.00 the band from the hood will be playing at the Hood. Entrance is free but we will be looking for donations (optional) of around £5 to support their attempts to rebuild their lives.
Time is short so we would appreciate if you could spread the word.
