Hi there,

It's been a great year for us so far!

We've been delighted with the reaction to 'Witness'. This was, for us, an ambitious recording project and the feedback from reviewers and listeners has been overwhelmingly positive. Plans are afoot for a single release of the song 'Roots' and a promo video of the track is being prepared.
Although it has been a relatively quiet UK festival season for us, one highlight was our visit to Canada. The reaction of the audiences in Canmore, Vermillion and Edmonton was fantastic and the general welcome we received memorable. We made many new friends there and shared the stage with some first class musicians, including The Duhks, Gary Fjellgaard, Madagascar Slim, Bob Brozman, Eileen Ivers - we even got to sing 'Wild Thing' with the writer, Chip Taylor, at one workshop session! We look forward to returning soon.

As the summer gradually fades away we're gearing ourselves up for an exceptionally busy few months. Many of you will have heard by now that our special guest on this Autumn's tour will be Martyn Joseph. A major concert artist in his own right, Martyn has become a close friend over the last few years and those of you unfamiliar with his powerful and passionate songs are in for a real treat.
Tickets are selling extraordinarily well for next year's third Royal Albert Hall show and we will be following the concert with solo projects in April and May. Steve will be recording a new solo album and then touring with young Devonian songwriter Jenna, and Phil will feature Jackie Oates and Isambarde on his extensive spring outing. Miranda will also be playing most of Phil's shows.
Kevin Henderson who has expertly run the on the road 'shop' so successfully for the last two years has moved on to pastures new. Likewise, Mick Dolan our sound engineer for the last five years has become increasingly immersed in recording projects and won't be with us on the road this year. We thank them both and wish them luck and success.
