Hi Guys
Listen to that! .... Peace and quiet ...(apart from the constant gurgle of the washing machine) My bunnies are back to school and I can now raid my secret chocolate stash without fear of being caught, oh and more importantly get some work done!
So - firstly a reminder about a fantastic concert tomorrow night at the Canterbury Cathedral Int' Study Centre - Gordon Giltrap, 7.45pm, tickets from Sue Holton on 01843 588074 sue_at_sueholton_dot_co_dot_uk
Then on Friday week, local band 'Waterhorse' are at the Horsebridge Centre in Whitstable, worth checking out these guys.
On the same day (15th) if you are a Radio Kent listener and a ColvinQuarmby fan, listen out for Gerry & co on the Pat Marsh Show from about 11am onwards. Live in the studio and playing a few tracks from 'A Short walk to the Red Lion'. I wonder what Pat will make of Gerry!! Can't wait for that. If anyone has facility to record that on a computer, and would be willing to do so, please let me know. They will of course be plugging their gig the following day - Saturday 16th Sept - at Deal Maritime Folk Festival, 3.30pm in St George's Church, Deal.
ColvinQuarmby aren't doing a Folk in the Barn gig this Autumn so this will be your only chance to see them for a while, so book your tickets on 01304 239765 Lets give them some great
