Walthamstow Folk - new venue

When the club reopens on September 3rd we will be at a new venue

The Plough Inn, Wood Street E17

The Plough Inn is directly opposite Wood Street Station on the National Rail Liverpool Street to Chingford Line (journey time is 17 minutes from Liverpool Street). The train runs via Hackney Downs Station amongst others and links with the Underground at Walthamstow Central which is one stop before Wood Street. The last trains back to town are after the club finishes and link with the late underground services so you should not have to worry about missing any of the evening.

Buses 230 from Wood Green via Walthamstow Central and W16 from Leytonstone Central Line Station also stop outside Wood Street station. There are many other bus routes within 5 minutes walk of the pub and full details will be on the relaunched web site later in the week.

The Plough Inn is an established music venue in East London with various events including a regular Jazz Club and Blues Jam session as well as the occassional Theatrical production, and we are looking forward to this exciting new development in the history of our club.
