This Sunday 17th December is our last event 
of the year before we close for a couple of weeks over the holiday period. On 
this Sunday we have an evening that will be a little different from the 
usual:-

evening:
Awakening Love 
The Mystical poetry of Sufi mystics 
Rumi and Hafez in Dari / Farsi and English with musical 
accompaniment.
Rumi and Hafez were poets in 13th and 14th century Persia 
(now Iran) and followers of the Islamic mystical tradition of Sufism.
The 
power and wisdom of their work has endured for nearly 800 years and is as 
relevant and important now as it ever has been. Perhaps even more so.
In 
this special evening from Walthamstow Folk Karim Haidari and Evlynn Sharp 
present entirely new translations of Rumi and Hafez's mystical poetry set to 
music by Melanie Reinhart.
It promises to be an unforgettable evening 
that might just change your life...
