Hi
It's that time again- the London Fiddle Convention (now the 15th!) is coming up, on Sunday 25th Feb.
What's new this year? For the first time we have sponsorship, from Vivace Violins, Ted Brewer Violins, Sonic Violins, Thwaites, and Accusound.
Accusound have donated one of their superb microphone systems as a raffle prize, and some of these companies will also have trade stands.

As usual we have a packed and varied programme. Appearing for the first time will be S.Harikumar, whose 7-string violectra and super-staccato technique will leave you gobsmacked.
We're delighted by the return of Loretta Kelley, America's leading Hardanger Fiddle player. Gundula Gruen,Sarah Harrison and Igor Outkine will treat us to some fiery Russian and gypsy music, whilst  Karen Ryan will be back with some great Irish fiddling. Pete Cooper, Bob Winquist and Chris Haigh will be doing their usual thing, and Joe Townsend and Kate Hands can be relied on to turn up with something quite unexpected.

For more details of workshops, the annual competition, biogs of the performers and so on see <www.londonfiddleconvention.co.uk>

I look forward to seeing you there!
Chris Haigh
