Subject: JIM CAUSLEY _at_ THE MUSIC
INSTITUTE, GUILDFORD
_______________________________
Although this will be the fourth time we have booked
Jim Causley (twice before with The Devil's Interval and at Christmas in "Frost
& Fire") this is the first time we have booked Jim solo - at the Guildford
Institute, Wards Street, Guildford GU1 4LG on Friday 9th February.
Jim describes himself as "Devon incarnate" and his
musical roots are deep in his home county. Much of his traditional repertoire
consists of songs from the West Country - although he has also been known to
perform items from the singing on Dolly Parton and Kirk Douglas(!?). One of the most entertaining of the
new wave of young performers Jim's engaging personality and warm voice
guarantees a splendid evening.
The evening begins at 8.00pm.
