Crew's first Newsletter, Lewes Ceilidh Sunday 18 March
Dear Friends and Clients,
This is the first Newsletter from the new ceilidh
crew website (
www.theceilidhcrew.co.uk) created
by lewes on line. I hope you are happy to have been added to the subscribers
list. Please forward this to any of your friends who might be interested and
incourage them to subscribe to the newsletter.
Following the success of the the first Lewes Ceilidh
in September 06 the second of the Lewes Ceilidhs is taking place at the All
Saints Centre on Sunday 18th March. We will be celebrating St Patrick's Day
(well the day after) in true Irish style with fantastic music from the ceilidh
crew and great dancing. Families are welcome at this event and there will be
refreshments to suit most tastes.
Gill Emerson will be calling in her traditional
energetic style.
Tim Cotterell, previously of Legacy and many other
ventures and presently accompanist to Matha Tilston, will be playing
fiddle.
Nick Peachey with his wealth of musical experience
and general brillance will be playing accordian and guitar.
Jo May, key player in Token Women and others as well
as the up and coming Zoox, will be playing percussion and more specifically
the Irish Bodhran.
The Harveys bar is being supplied by Southover
Bonfire Society with all profits to the society.
Food is being prepared by Elena. There will be Irish
stew with a Spanish twist (or is that Spanish stew with an Irish twist?), a
new potato dish and something extra for vegetarians.
Venue and times are;
6.30 till 10pm
All Saints Centre
Friars Walk
Lewes BN7
2LE
Tickets are;

They will be availble on the door or you can contact
