Electric River

Saturday 2 June 7.30pm

Gulbenkian Theatre Canterbury

With their strong melodies, sharp lyrics, driving rhythms and angry guitars - Electric River are a recipe for hard hitting original live music representing a fed up youth culture. The energetic force of this four piece band creates an unforgettable live act; raising roofs in a countless number of venues and generally giving people a great time.

When this young local unsigned band played at the Gulbenkian last February it was a sell out and a huge success for the band and the local music scene. Plus, they recently came 4th in the country in a competition called the 3firstcutawards.

This young local outfit will be playing a selection of their own music now well known to Canterbury crowds who have been stopped in their tracks by these energetic musicians. A highlight of the evening will be the release of their new CD.

Please note that the show and the audience will be captured on tape and film to ensure that this will be an unforgettable night. The event will be put onto DVD.
