This is just to let you know that I have just received some sad news.

Jack Hamilton, founder of Broadstairs Folk Week, was taken to hospital in the early hours and died around 0800 this morning, Friday 9th November 2007.

Tricia thinks he had a heart attack and stroke, plus of course his dementia. He was 88 in July.

There are no funeral arrangements as yet, but if anyone wants them perhaps you would contact info_at_broadstairsfolkweek_dot_org_dot_uk and we will pass them on in due course.

Our thoughts are obviously with Tricia and Jack's son and daughter and Tricia asks that this message is passed on to as many contacts as possible please.
