Hi Beau,

The Rattlers played Tenterden Folk Fest last October and went down a storm, after which we went our separate ways with different projects.  Kevin  (African percussion/Vocals)has been working with West African Musicians recording Traditional High Life Music. Chris (Accordion)has been involved in Community Theatre, Rob(Fiddle) Playing with a Barn Dance Band,  Paul Clifford (Percussion/Harmonica)went back r to Canada  for a series of gigs and Andy Price (our occasional double bass player) has been in the orchestra pit playing for the Pantomime Season.  I have  been locked into a major building project but still found time to write a Cricket song for CRS Records in Barbados which is being covered by Calypso band called the Merry men.

We played New Years Eve as a Five piece and gigs are slowly coming in.

The Rattlaz are an off shoot trio – Myself, Kevin Richards and Chris Tophill.  We were asked to perform an evening of songs of Peace and Protest for the Folkestone Literature Festival in November 2005  as part of their history weekend with Tariq Ali and Kate Adie among others. The show was so well received we recorded a selection of the repertoire live.  – Songs of Peace and Protest- The Rattlaz,

The Rattlers will be recording an album in the very near future and are up for gigging.

How many Rattlaz trax do you Require, and do you want any Jack Pound Trax for your site? I have sold out of my Album ‘King Troubadours Tears’ which was a pleasant surprise, whether I press more copies or not the songs are still available for downloads.

Been trying to organise the facts and the details that are needed for selling MP3 tracks on the web :-

Is this a good time to discuss, or are you swamped with things ?

cheers,
