            Hi Beau,

Thanks for that – all is not yet lost!

We attended a meeting with Greenwich Council on Monday and, although The Barn is being closed down (temporarily?) we still have a chance that when it re-opens we may still be able to use the space.

We have also been looking at alternative venues and hope to make an announcement in the very near future – we’ll let everyone know as soon as we can confirm arrangements

                        All the best

                                    Steve and Lynne

Oh such bad news, Lynne.

Can you track an address for who at Greenwich Council we can write to ?

Probably will make no difference, but I never believe in just letting these things pass without a word.

cheers and thankyou for all the wonderful times there, so hope you can resume there soon,

cheers,

    Beau

            Hi everyone,

            Sad news I’m afraid.

We’ve heard today from the managers of the Tudor Barn that it is being closed down by the leaseholders (Greenwich Council), being boarded up temporarily and possibly opening again in the future as a different type of facility.

We really don’t know what will be happening in the future, but there is always a chance that the new managers may let us carry on at some point.

As things stand at the moment though, the venue is closing on Sunday 24th. February – which means that our Cajun gig with The Bearcats on Sunday 16th. March can’t take place at The Barn. We are frantically looking for an alternative venue for this gig, and we will let everyone know if we can a get an alternative venue booked in time.

I’m sure you will appreciate that we are really sad and shocked about this and we know that many of you will feel the same, it was a very special place because of the wonderful people that came along and made it a world famous little gem - one of the bands favourites.

Everyone who knows us will realise that we are passionate about Cajun and Zydeco music, so we will do our best to find another good venue and keep the Cajun Barn going

We’d be grateful if you could help in two ways:

Firstly - please tell everyone you know who doesn’t have email and

Secondly: If you have any ideas for venues we’d love to hear from you

                        Regards

                                    Steve and Lynne
