Hello Everyone!

Thank you so much for the fantastic support shown by members for the gig last Tuesday, namely Storm Warning and a special thank you to those who took positive action on my request to bring along and extra friend or two!   Please keep them coming!

Storm Warning presented a beautifully crafted set, weaving an intoxicating mix of the traditional with jazzier and rockier elements to keep momentum through to the inevitable encore.   They've certainly hit the nail on the head in designing this set of, principally, original material and this fresh approach, expertly executed by a great team of musicians, was more than appreciated by the members, indeed the feedback received, both at the event and follow up e-mail, has been quite phenomenal!

Moving swiftly on to our gig for this month, on 26th February, negotiations are now complete!  

Do I need to say anything more because it's...................... The Spikedrivers! 

Oh all right then...............................

Many requests have been received by me for the long awaited return of this club favourite and I believe that their performance style is well known to most of you!  If not, check them out on www.spikedrivers.net.    

I personally saw them perform a few years ago at a blues weekend in Suffolk and I can assure you, if you don't already know, that the level of musicianship and entertainment provided by Ben, Constance and Maurice is quite awesome!

If you could please let me have your bookings, preferably by e-mail, for tables or seats as soon as possible and also give me an idea if you are intending to eat at the venue (they provide very nice meals at reasonable prices!).
