I am on a joint committee of square dancers and callers who are promoting caller training in the UK. We would like to hear from experienced teachers of English (or possibly Scottish or Welsh) country dancing who would like to cross-train as callers. A good knowledge of the Playford repertoire would be helpful. We can provide caller schools and all the basic training in square dancing that you need to teach at Mainstream level, and will provide a mentor if required. We are especially short of women in this line of work but everyone is welcome.

If interested, please e-mail Zoe at RPMsquaredancing_at_aol_dot_com or call me on 0115-928 2896.

I have responded to this to ask if any of the Training offered will be in our patch (they're based in the Midlands). And for a rough idea of the costs involved.
I have not heard back yet - so if you're interested you should contact direct now. 1d x
