DJ WANTED: Any of y'uns out there want to help out with WEFM-RADIO? We have a nice little service via Live365 that broadcasts a two hour pickersshow featuring efolkMusic artists, and it COULD be really COOL IF some highly-motivated soul kept it current.  Experience a plus, but hey, this is a volunteer gig, write us if you are interested!

TUNESHOP-MEISTER WANTED: Always a popular section, we need someone to help us grow the archive. Write us, get involved! FOLK-FESTER-MEISTER WANTED- same deal, but helping keep our festival list current. FOLK-RADIO/DJ COORDINATOR WANTED- help if you can, write for info

Why efolkMusic?
Glad you asked- it shows that you know the difference between McMassMedia and the real thing....
Since 1999 efolkMusic has been a premier  resource for folk music fans, keeping discerning folks like you in "high touch" with artists. The web-based nonprofit provides a means for folk musicians to promote and distribute their art, and a central gathering place for the folk music community.
We offered legal MP3s by the track the day we "opened" in 1999, strictly bleeding-edge, invented the handy "MultiPak" in 2002 (for easy one-click downloading), "Digital Albums" in 2006, and just last fall we began "pushing" the good stuff right to your desktop via our RSS feed "Song of the Week" (ya gotta join to get that!).
Is it worth growing a website like this? Does anybody care? Do you? I think the music is the reason why we keep after it, and if you do, too, I hope you'll consider becoming a supporting member!
