 Friday 4th  APRIL
 Alison McMorland and Geordie McIntyre
Alison & Geordie sing their traditional Scots ballads with passion and intensity. Renowned for their feeling for the songs and their work collecting and passing on Scots tradition, Alison's soaring rich voice is complemented by Geordie's dry wit and rhythmic delivery.... “ scrupulous traditional fidelity with versatile and creative artistry.        (Hamish Henderson)

This year we focus on another of his loves - American music -  plus the usual mix of Irish and English guests.
Also we hope that many of our previous guests will join us again, along with Musical Traditions  residents who give the club its special quality. Keith co-founded the club with us in 1990.

Friday 6th June
Brendan McGlinchey and Oliver Mulligan : two All-Ireland champions

Fiddle- player Brendan, from Co. Armagh, is  a master of decorative style, renowned both for his technical virtuosity and his great feeling for the old style music.
Oliver  is originally from Co. Monaghan  where his style and many of his songs were learned, he later added Gaelic songs  from the West.   Long resident in London, he  is a much respected singer  in both English and Irish.

Friday 4th July    Dearman, Gammon & Harrison

Annie Dearman, Vic Gammon and Steve Harrison perform English traditional songs and tunes in a robust and firmly rooted English style, accompanied on various squeezeboxes, banjo and mouthorgan. Their repertory comes from traditional singers and instrumentalists; from  folk song collectors of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century; from manuscript tune and song books , ballad sheets and songs  they just happen to hear and like.
Their CD Black Crow, White Crow  (EFDSS CD11)  has had great reviews.
