Description:
CALL FOR PERFORMERS
Cibas would like to offer a theatre company, dance group, musicians, spoken word or performance artists the opportunity to perform a short piece (around 15-20 minutes) at the Creative Focus Conference in Portsmouth on 11.06.2008.
The conference delegates will be from business, education, local authority, strategic development and the creative and cultural industries, so this will be an excellent opportunity to showcase to potential commissioners and collaborators.
We are able to reimburse expenses and a small payment may be available (dependent on, eg, the number of performers, distance travelled, etc). The selected performers will also receive free admission to the conference. The performance will take place in the main atrium space at Portsmouth Business School at around 10am.
Please submit a proposal together with some information about yourself or your group (not more than one side of A4), together with no more than 3 low-to-medium resolution digital images to steve_dot_fisher_at_port_dot_ac_dot_uk. Deadline for proposals: 9am on Wednesday 28 May 2008.
