Subject: Cajun & Zydeco coming up!
Hello all!
*Lots* of gigs coming up so listings here for the
next week and a bit!
On Friday 23rd May it's the first gig of the
Dindon Sauvage Tour of Kent - they are playing at The Queens Head (111 The
Street, Boughton-under-Blean, Faversham, Kent, ME13 9BH) at
9.00pm
On Saturday the 24th, Jumbo Gumbo are playing at The
Flowerpot (96 Sandling Road, Maidstone, Kent,
ME14 2RJ) at 9.00pm.
The next chance to catch Dindon Sauvage is on Sunday the 25th of May at
the Littlebourne Barn (Church Road, Littlebourne, Kent, CT3 1XS). Please note
that there has been a time change with this event! Doors open now 1.00pm and
there's a a free 30-minute cajun dance workshop with Kay Anderson at 2.00pm.

Monday 26th May at The Barge (63 Layfield Road, Gillingham,
Kent, ME7 2QY) at 9.00pm and Wednesday 28th May at The Man of Kent (6-8 John
Street, Rochester, Kent, ME1 1YN) at 9.00pm.
On Thursday (29th May)
it's the fabulous MONTHLY CAJUN AND AMERICANA NIGHT AT THE HOOK AND HATCHET,
this Thursday with DINDON SAUVEGE! 9.00pm start. The Hook and Hatchet - Church

Finally,
Saturday 31st May sees the annual SUMMER CAJUN DANCE PARTY with traditional
cajun dance music from the fabulous ZIGAZAG at St Peters Church Hall (Cromwell
Road, Whitstable, Kent, CT5 1NA) it promises to be a wonderful evening! Doors
7.30pm, band 8.00pm to 10.30pm. Tickets (£7) and information from 01227-274340.

Please be aware that this event is likely to sell out in advance so buy your
tickets beforehand (Kay and Satu are selling tickets at gigs) or call to check
