Newsletter For May 12, 2008

Volume 3  Issue 10

Good morning...

To read the full newsletter, visit http://www.musicnewsnashville.com/newsletter/current.htm.

Country Music lost a legend this past week - Eddy Arnold passed away at the age of 89.  Music News Nashville would like to extend condolences and our sympathies to his family and friends.

What's new this week?  How about songwriter holds... are they real?  Nashville sessions - then and now.  What's going on in Phil Vassar's world these days?  And, speaking Phil Vassar, we captured some great photos of him in Atlanta recently, along with a concert by Sheryl Crow.

We've put up many new contests for songwriters and artists to enter.  Visit the Music News Nashville magazine site and click on FOR ARTISTS / WRITERS and then CONTESTS / COMPETITIONS.  These are contests from all over the US and elsewhere.  Think you have what it takes?  Only way to find out is to enter.
