Traditional music diploma through Irish at NUI Galway
NUI Galway has announced the Diploma of Arts in the Composition, Arrangement and Performance of Traditional Music, a new programme to be taught through Irish. The diploma will be a full-time, one-year course and will take place in An Spidéal, Co. na Gaillimhe. The course will focus on music theory and structure; the history and development of the traditional arts in Ireland; and the archiving, composition, arrangement, recording and performance of traditional music.
