and 2006 if.comedy nominee PAUL SINHA with his new show "My John Terry moments"

PAPPY'S FUN CLUB - "FUNERGY"

Following the huge success of their last show (nominated for the If.Comedy Award at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival Fringe), Pappy's Fun Club have had a phenomenal year: performing in comedy venues across the UK; appearing on BBC Radio 1; presenting their own show on Radio 4; winning the Chortle Award for Best Sketch Act; and performing at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Expect historical characters, mythical creatures and the eternal battle between good and evil. Will Pappy's Fun Club save the day? If you consider identifying the problem and then singing about it to be saving the day, then yes.

"Extraordinarily fresh and funny" The Times

PAUL SINHA - "MY 'JOHN TERRY' MOMENTS"

Very late one evening in May 2008, England and Chelsea captain, John Terry, a man at the apogee of his career, prepared for the most important strike of his life. Before a global television audience of millions he made the most catastrophic blunder of his career when he slipped on a patch of grass, missed the crucial penalty and lost Chelsea the Champions League.

One way or another we’ve all slipped, we've all felt the pain John Terry felt, we've all wished no-one saw us do it. Luckily for most of us, it doesn't involve millions, but with everyone getting their fifteen minutes of fame, who's to say. Join Paul in his bid to offer solace rather than schadenfreude,* after all, next time, it could be you.

"Superlative... irresistible... jokes come thick and fast." Telegraph

*Okay, we admit it, people falling over is just plain funny.
