you news of a special tribute concert which is being staged in Newcastle on 5th
September.
The concert 'Long Hellos . . . Short
Goodbyes' is being held to celebrate the life and music of international
contemporary singer JOHN WRIGHT, who died suddenly in February.
"It is a measure of the respect that his peers had
for John that such a superb line-up of artists and songwriters have volunteered
to perform. They include Steve Knightley, Allan Taylor, Kieran Halpin, Julie
Matthews, Thom Moore, Ray Hearne, Robin Laing, Maartin Allcock and Troy
Donockley, Brian Willoughby, John Wright's Band, and a 38-man Shanty Choir -
'Rolling Home' from Holland."
