Well, what a band the City Shakers turned out to be! Superb
musicianship all round plus the ability to entertain, personified in the larger
than life character that is front man Big Boy Bloater! Nice to see people
dancing as well!
No gig in August, however, September 30th brings an all time club
favourite as part of his UK Tour - Little Toby Walker, one of the world's finest

information:
"As promised on the night here are the details for: The Acoustic
Strawbs at Sheppey Folk and Blues Club on Monday 15 September 2008. Admission by
ticket only, price £10, tickets must be purchased in advance due to CIU rules.
The doors opens at 8pm with the support starting at 8:30pm sharp. The Strawbs
will be on at 9pm.
The Sheppey Folk and Blues Club is held every Monday at the Minster
Working Men's Club, Union Road, Minster, Sheppey, Kent ME12 2HW. Next to Minster
Abbey.
...and, for the Bottleneck, that's Little Toby Walker, Tuesday 30th
September at the Roffen Suite.
