BBC Four TV schedule features many excellent music programmes. Guitar Heroes at the BBC upcoming shows include compilation of 1970s BBC performances on shows from The Old Grey Whistle Test to Sight and Sound by such heroes of the electric guitar as Carlos Santana, Mark Knopfler, The Edge and Peter Green, as well as acoustic masters like John Martyn, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn and Paco Pena.

MADDY PRIOR plays the BBC Electric Proms - Cecil Sharp House, London - 23rd October 2008
Maddy will be playing her album 'Seven for Old England' in a special show - with daughter Rose Kemp and friends & collaborators June Tabor and Tim Hart.
Park Records write that the following night (24th October at about 10.30pm) Maddy will be appearing on BBC4TV

As well as performances from over 20 bands and musicians direct from New Orleans including Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Kermit Ruffins, Marcia Ball, BeauSoleil, The Rebirth Brass Band, John Mooney and Buckwheat Zydeco, the free undercover two day event will feature Louisiana food demonstrations, the Mardis Gras Indians and a host of authentic New Orleans attractions, including a recreation of the French Quarters famous Bourbon Street.
