OCTOBER 7th ...ON
STAGE artists of the night:
Brigid Kaelin from Louisville/US
-Her novelty Chanukah record, Mazel Tonk!,
received national airplay on countless radio stations,
and the video for her single, "Blue Dreidel No. 9," was
one of the most popular YouTube videos of the holiday
season. Recently voted Number 33 in WFPK's "Greatest
Artists of All Time" Countdown (John Prine was 34 and
Bob Dylan 29), Brigid Kaelin is a Louisville favourite
and bestseller. Her debut, Keep Your Secrets outsold all
other local artists in 2005 AND 2006, and was voted
Number 225 in WFPK's Top 919 Albums of All Time. Brigid
Kaelin was one of 56 worldwide finalists in the USA
Networks's 2007 season of Nashville Star and her song
"Future Mr. Used-to-Be" won an Honor Award in the Great
American Song Contest.
Luca Milani from Milan/Italy -
usually writes songs for his band. But he
sings and plays guitar, too, and currently he is on tour
presenting his solo project to the world. ODi
- a new Irish female, singer
songwriting talent originally from Ireland now based in
Leeds/UK. She has made an impact on both sides of the
Irish Sea with her debut single 'Crawl' released in
April 2007. Her Debut was received with great reviews,
radio plays and invitations to play live sessions from
the likes of Alan Raw (BBC Raw Talent) and Edel Coffey
(Phantom FM Dublin) soon followed. ODi was invited to
support Seth Lakeman (UK's nu folk star) at last year's
Beverley Folk festival. Ireland's premier music magazine
HOT PRESS featured ODi in its Headlining Act Article
describing Crawl as an 'Atmospheric 3 Tracker that
displays ODi's vocal talent in all it's genuine glory'.
Currently ODi is on tour promoting the releaseof "What
You Deserve".
Peter Searcy from
Louisville/US - It's not easy to compare the music of
Peter Searcy's youth to what he creates today. As the
lead singer of hooky hardcore band Squirrel Bait while
he was in high school, Peter earned an amazing accolade:
Spin magazine proclaimed Peter as "the best voice in
rock and roll next to Paul
Westerberg."
Tara London -
INDY Music Awards 2008 Finalist - a fine
singer/songwriter from London. Currently, she is working
as a solo artist, writing new material for her first

acoustic shows alongside her guitarist Nick Michaels and
backing vocalist Jodie Gray...
Trishanne - during her early years she busked on the
London underground as she learned to play and studied
Sound. More Recently, she has been taking her own work
out to the wider audience and gaining a reputation for
being a great songwriter, people say, "that she writes
the songs people need to hear". Opening the show at The
House of Commons for the first Diwali festival
Celebrations ever held in Parliament in 2004, and for
