artists of the night:
ABI BARNETT - A young singer/songwriter with a silky and soulful voice performing her beautifully self-penned songs. - BECKY SYSON - 'Becky Syson's songs sparkle with sensitivity & bubble with brilliance' - Songwriters Sundays - 'Becky Syson's one of the good'uns' - Evening Post - 'A wonderful new talent' - The Running Horse - 'Becky has a real passion for her music and performance. With powerful and uplifting songs contrasting between soft traditional folk and emotion driven folk-rock. A pleasure to listen to'. - The Maze
DAVID HULSTONA wonderful soft voice accompained by clear tones from his accoustic guitar. One of his fans left a message to David on his myspace site, reading: I think we could take one of two perspectives on being one of many who turn ordinary words into beautifully strung woven lines, the first that we are lost in the crowd, the second that we live in a gorgeous world bursting at the seams with creativity. The only ones not creating anything are those that haven't quite learnt how to listen to themselves properly yet.
JOSH OSHO - Winner of Wandsworth's 2008 "Talent Lives" - A boy in appearance, a man at heart. Don't let his youth fool you, his songs are bursting with the experience and maturity you would hope to find at the heart of the well seasoned musicians of today, sighting tales of his short life to present, touching on ordinary modern living and the thoughts, feelings and ideals surrounding it. Whilst you can hear traces of artists such as india irie and seal in his music Josho Osho is an undeniably original act and his passion for his first love is expressed in the wholesome honest music he creates in his musical furrow.
MARWOOD - is currently musically based between New York and London (where he was born), but spends precious little time in either, as life seems to have been one never ending and ridiculously fun string of shows where ever good folks will have him. Marwood has played, performed and recorded with: Nic D'Amato, Mike Talbot, Matt Johnson, Rob Calder, Sarab Singh, John Embree, Matt Beck, Gerald Menke, Rob Overbey, Brett Conti, Emily Zuzik, Leslie Mendelson, Nell Bryden, Ernie Fortunado, Dave Boyle...
SIMON-PAUL FAIRWEATHER - His current album in the making 'Kids of War' is his first solo effort. Music is a huge part of his life and he has been in bands recording and performing music and honing his craft since he was 13, (he's now 30).
