2. Introduction

Welcome to the November Indie Contact Newsletter.

First off, I'm extremely happy to announce that it's the
10th Anniversary of The Indie Bible!

Thanks to everyone that has supported us these last
ten years. It's hard to believe that so much time has
passed since the First Edition rolled off the press.

The new 2009 Edition is now available online at
http://www.indiebible.com

In this month's article,
Bill Pere of the CT Songwriters
Association presents an excellent article on the
importance of promoting the digital versions of
your music. Music consumers are switching repidly
from CD buyers to track buyers...and Bill provides
some key tips on how to take advantage of this
new trend.

FInally, in last month's newseltter there was a
listing for You Rock Radio. The owner of You
Rock (Aaron) contacted me and let me know that
he had a major server crash before he had a
chance to back up the music that was sent to him.
He sends his deepest apologies and asks that
anyone that sent their music to him last month,
please resend it.

Remember, If you have a service that can help out artists
or songwriters and would like to be listed in this newsletter,
please don't hesitate to get in touch. Just e-mail your details
to indiecontactnewsletter_at_rogers_dot_com

As is the case every month, there is a large group of new
contacts that can help you to gain more exposure for your
music. So dig in and enjoy the November edition of the Indie
Contact Newsletter!
