Just released:
CHARLIE PARR's new album ROUSTABOUT.  Charlie's seventh full-length CD
release is "a field recording in true monophonic sound recorded over a month's
time in a variety of locations including living rooms, garages, barroom
basements, and empty storefronts".  Charlie (from Duluth, Minnesota) plays
original and traditional folk and rural-style blues, accompanying himself on
National resonator guitars, 12-string guitar and a fretless banjo. "If it's
electric, it's gonna let ya down."!

Charlie Parr
was first introduced to me by Del Day of Ark PR, a guy who really knows his
roots music. Listen to the mighty Songs From The Ark - every Friday at 6pm Radio
Reverb 97.2FM. Hopefully the station will remember to crank up the engine!
