'TELL IT LIKE IT IS' AND GO IN THE DRAW FOR AMAZON GIFT VOUCHERS!

Since we first launched MusicLeader in 2005 our membership has grown nationally to over 12,000! Things continue to move on at a pace and we want to ensure that we provide you with the support you need the most.

The MusicLeader team is currently working on a new strategic plan, and your feedback is very important to us. To inform what we do in the future we have posted an online survey to get your views.  We've kept things as simple as possible, and it shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes to complete the survey. As a thank you for spending some time on it we'll enter you into a prize draw for one of five £50 Amazon vouchers.

The survey should be pretty self explanatory, but if you do have any questions, please contact us at enquiries_at_MusicLeader_dot_net

Finally, we expect to have analysed all survey responses by April and will be sure to let you know the headlines as soon as they're published.

Thanks again for your time. It's much appreciated!

The MusicLeader National Team.

***TO TAKE PART IN THE SURVEY VISIT  http://www.musicleader.net/news_details.asp?newsid=823

This link leads to the MusicLeader website and on there, to a news item about the survey, including a working link to the survey.

You are right that this survey is aimed mostly at people that have made use of MusicLeader services, as it is looking to improve the MusicLeader offer. If you think that your membership is an appropriate audience that would benefit from taking part, I would appreciate it very much if you could pass this link on.

Hi Dave,

We've been inundated with requests for screenings but regrettably we have to decline at the moment. The reason being is that we are still trying to secure a national cinema release, and we are concerned that this may hamper our efforts.  I'm sure you understand that a potential distributor may be concerned about exhibiting a film if they think everyone has already seen it.
However, this is a film about the folk world, and we've received a huge amount of support from the folk world and we'd love to help if we can so do please feel free to get in touch closer to the time in case our situation changes.

Best

Greg

Subject: Cole Moreton Dare to dance the Morris, the laugh of the century - Commentators,

  Hi Penny

Not sure if you have seen this article? There is going to be a piece in
The New Statesman at some point in the near future. When I get the info
I will let you know.

This is the second article that mentions the 'Moonies' written by Cole
Moreton. He is an Eastbourne based journalist who has also come along to
the Lammas Festival a few times and caught up with me at Wassail this
year, hence this article.

Whew! Folk is certainly getting a high profile at the moment  - there was a full-page article by Lucy Neal in the Guardian Review section (with a picture of the Morris dancing in Trafalgar Sq. Ditchling Morris in the background).
Woman's Hour covered the CSH/Mary Neal event, plus did recent pieces on Ceilidh and Clog dancing.
How cool is this! 1d x
