BUDDY HOLLY
February 4th BBC FOUR TV - Arena's Buddy Holly documentary, features interviews with contemporaries and fans including backing band The Crickets, The Everly Brothers, Keith Richards and Paul McCartney. This is followed by the excellent biopic "The Buddy Holly Story".
 
A new CD, commemorating the day the music died, "Winter Dance Party: 50th Anniversary Special" is a collection of 27 tracks -  of the songs of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper who died February 3rd, 1959. Included are their famous songs, some less-known recordings and radio promo snippets.
