This event is aimed at people thinking about or just starting out in running music activities with children or young people/music
education, or those considering a change in career direction.

The day features a mixture of practical workshops:

Just the Job – These sessions present a chance to meet five professionals working in different roles across the sector. Find out
what exactly they do, how they got there, and what skills or training helped them. Featured jobs this year include Music Therapy,
Early Years, SEN, Youth Justice and Instrumental Teaching.

Community Music Workshops – Learn about running community music projects through discussion and hands-on activities with a
practising community musician

Classroom Teaching – The leader of Greenwich University’s PGCE course gives an overview of the course content and what it’s like to
teach music in a classroom setting.

Sector Focus – three workshops focusing on: alternative methods for funding your work, how to make yourself stand out from the crowd
to prospective employers and where opportunities for work in the sector lie.

CV Surgery – Get one-to-one advice on your CV from Trinity’s Careers Advisor.
