Subject: Marsh Green Maypole
Dear folks,
Lyndsey and I are trying to get together a team to do maypole dancing next summer.
We have some musicians, though more are always welcome. But what we really need are volunteers to learn the dances. (They're really not that hard, and good fun to do!)
If you'd be interested, we are proposing to have a short rehearsal at Marsh Green church, followed by an inaugural meeting in the Wheatsheaf, Marsh Green on SATURDAY 18TH OCTOBER, from 15.30 - 17.30.
Please could you let me know if you're (a) interested (b) can make 18th Oct.
Please also pass this invitation on to anyone else who may be interested.
If you want to do it, you can. Two left feet, age, memory loss, attention deficit disorder, tone deafness/lack of rhythmic sense, and other excuses are not accepted. Marsh Green school taught 7-year-olds to maypole dance!
Cheers,
Sue
