Margeret Crittenden - Sad news - Our Kentish Rose
Good morning everyone,
Those of Headcorn Morris, and any regular folk club
attendees at Faversham and Medway, and singers at Broadstairs will be very sad
to be informed of the death of Margaret Crittenden.
She died suddenly on Saturday afternoon at I
believe Rochester station whilst in the company of Ken Stevens.
Her son David an ex dark yard worker who is
currently a diving manager in the Black Sea area of what was Russia has been
informed.
Ken was obviously shaken up by the event was
checked over by doctors at the Medway Maritime hospital whilst he was assisting
them over Margaret's details. He was discharged late Saturday evening and has
returned home.
I have to say that it has been my pleasure to know
Margaret who I think to many has always been the very image of a Kentish
Rose.
I shall miss her.
