ACCORDION WORKSHOP
 With Pete Watson. Pete is the accordion player with Hai la Drum (led by Romanian gypsy violinist Baz Stanescu), Ultraswing, the Marama Caffe Band, Balkanatics and various other ensembles.  Many years experience of playing French musette, hot club style jazz and Balkan music as well as working for theatre, TV/film recordings and composing his own music. He also teaches privately.

The workshop will be open to ANY LEVEL OF ABILITY. Get to grips with some important aspects of accordion playing including the styles of French musette and gypsy jazz, in the relaxed company of other accordion players in elegant surroundings. Learn musette waltz, French style, Jo Privat solos, and how to be a versatile player.

 

Workshop  11am  – 4 pm with lunch break 1pm – 2pm.
