Friday 3rd April   Davis, Locker & Winquist
Traditional  American  songs and tunes  featuring Rosie's renowned
Appalachian "flatfoot" step-dancing. ROSIE DAVIS  is a compelling singer
and a fine song-writer, creating words and music with a strong traditional feel.
JOE LOCKER from New York, learned banjo-picking from his family. Since
residing in Britain, he has played mostly with Tom Paley in the New Deal
String Band.  BOB WINQUIST  from Vancouver Island, is Britain's master
country-bluegrass fiddler.

Fri 24 April Niamh Parsons   and Graham Dunne
From Dublin , one of Ireland's finest singers,  renowned for her command of
ornamentation and for her strong sense of the story behind the song.

 "a voice filled with sweet melancholy and stately passion..a remarkable

 a cappella singer." ( New York Times) .Graham is renowned for his masterly
guitar playing and his subtle accompanying of Niamh's singing

The fifth KEITH SUMMERS FESTIVAL     8th-10th  MAY 2009       

  TICKET-ONLY EVENT - NO SALES ON THE DOOR

 Venue : The King & Queen, 1 Foley Street, London W1W 6DL

WEEKEND TICKET £40 (concs. £30) includes 5 sessions (see below)

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS £8 (concs. £6) per session

Most guests will be with us throughout the weekend but one or two will have to leave before Sunday evening.    Food is available at the King & Queen 1 - 4pm  -   the Sunday roast is highly recommended.
