Hi Beau,

my name is Nibs van der Spuy, a guitarist/singer/songwriter from Kwa-Zulu South Africa.

I am doing a solo tour of the UK in October and wondered if i would be able to play a performance

at your venue during that time. I have also been invited to perform at the Tenderton Fol Fest in early October.

I would appreciate if you could take a look at my biog and listen to my music on the link below.

I am distributed in the UK through ADA Global (formerly Rikodisc) and have a British work permit.

Thanks so much and hope to hear from you soon.

Kind Regards

Nibs

Nibs van der Spuy is regarded as an acoustic guitar legend of Southern Africa. His spellbinding acoustic guitar style was first recognized with his band, ‘Landscape Prayers’ from 1993 – 2003. His diversity as a singer, songwriter and finger stylist, reached a broader audience with the release of his solo albums; 'Lines on my Face' (1999) and 'Flower in the Rain' (2002). Both were nominated in the ‘Best Instrumental Category ‘ at the South African Music Awards.

His third offering, ‘Beautiful Feet’ was released internationally in 2007 and has  received accolades in every country, from the London Guardian, Uncut to the Sydney Herald. Nibs tours as a soloist around the world and has shared the stage with luminaries such as Taj Mahal, Ben Harper, Crosby, Stills & Nash and Jack Johnson. His latest  album ’A Bird in the Hand’  has captured the natural, pacified and rural relaxed spirit of the East Coast of Africa and is once again wooing the International press.
