Dear Beau,
Happy New Year!
Yes, there will still be 20 places at the workshop, at £40 each. The
acoustics in our new, larger room are excellent. If you're free, how about
coming to hear the Newcastle fiddler and singer Tom McConville
(http://www.tommcconville.co.uk/) on Saturday 28th. March? And Nancy Kerr,
James Fagan and Rob Harbron (http://www.kerrfaganharbron.co.uk/) on 6th.
June?
Tickets for Tommy's evening performance at the Lewes Saturday Folk
Club will be £9 each. We expect to be able to fit more than fifty people in the
new room in comfort, but we need to experiment to see what the limit is.
I'll start taking bookings about three months before the workshop, but I'm
very happy to put people on an Interested list before that and to give them
first crack at booking when it begins.
Our website address (
www.lewesarmsfolkclub.org) remains
unchanged for the time being, although the content has changed. Bryan Creer has
designed us a very beautiful elephant which illustrates where we used to be and
where we are now.

Hi
Valmai,
Hope all is well
with you, and the new club home is proving OK.
Just building the
KentFolk pages for Tommy Peoples in September.....
May I ask what the
folk club's new web-site is ?
Any other changes
to contact details etc. ?
cheers,
Beau
