Subject: Brian Rooney ticket situation/ The London Lasses and Pete Quinn play support for Michael McGoldrick Band on Tues 19 May/ All Ireland Fleadh a week early

Hi All,

Just a few bits of info (more details at bottom of email) re:

1. Brian Rooney tickets for next Friday's concert - over half have sold online, but I know of a good number of people who intend to buy on the door - if it is possible, please buy your tickets via www.ts.com (only 50p booking fee) or if you know someone who wants to go but does not have computer access please can you offer to do it for them - we really don't want to have to have too many walk ups on the night and have to send people away.  Thanks

2. The London Lasses and Pete Quinn will play support for The Michael McGoldrick Band next Tuesday 19th May at The Jazz Cafe.  Doors 7pm, LLPQ onstage 8.15pm, MMcGB onstage 9.15pm (I don't know if any of the special offer tickets are still available, but you could try - tix at reduced rate of £12 instead of £16 plus booking ... details below)

3. In case you haven't heard, the All Ireland Fleadh in 2009 will be a week earlier than usual on 17th-23rd August in Tullamore (details from Ian McGirr below)

Just a quick point re: this years fleadh ... it's in Tullamore again as most of you will know but what appears to be catching people out this year (and that you may not be aware of if you are not competing or part of Comhaltas) is that it is NOT the last weekend in August as it always has been. It usually coincides with the UK Bank Holiday but not this year.
