Subject: Last Night
Hi everyone...Firstly, if there is anyone who no longer wants to be on the mailing list - please let me know so I can delete you. Now a report on last night at The Foresters. Trevor and I arrived to find new people behind the bar,MTV blaring from the t.v.,and speakers, noisy drinkers,football on other side with accompaniment from the juke box later. Next to arrive was quiet singer, Paul,then  gospel singer Peter, then audience Peter.Singer Peter said Ian would be late, so we made a start. Other than Ian, nobody else turned up. Trevor was sung out and very tired by 9.30, so at 10 we left. They have promised to keep it quiet in future, we can only hope that they do. If more of us were there, such problems could have been overcome. Please make every effort to turn up for the next session as we don't want to lose this venue.
