If you haven't heard already via other means - let me excitedly announce that for your extreme listening and viewing pleasure we have coming to the Kingston Barn on Tuesday 23rd June none other than Mr Steve Knightley and Mr Martyn Joseph. Yes I know, pinch yourselves - it's true. This will be so initimate you could almost wear your slippers!
An Evening with Martyn Joseph and Steve Knightley

"Two of the country's most original and captivating singer-songwriters, Martyn Joseph and Steve Knightley are about to showcase their talent, commitment and friendship in a handful of exclusive, intimate shows. Ever since they toured together in ‘Faith, Folk and Anarchy’ (also with Tom Robinson), and then four years ago as a duo to promote their popular ‘Bridgerow Sessions’ album, people have been asking when they would perform together again.
Wait no longer. In a series of unique concerts this summer, the two will re-unite to present a rare evening of their powerful songs and informal banter. New material and classics, questions and requests plus the finest stagecraft in the land. With only around a hundred tickets available for each show, this promises to be a very special and unique series of events and a rare chance to experience an up-close and personal double dose of these two much-loved artists. To book please email me in the usual way, or in an unusual way if you prefer, but I probably won't be replying till after this coming weekend, as I'll be a bit busy. I had intended to announce it to my list first, but its escaped already so I'm catching up.
