ADVERTISING IN THE AUG/ SEPT 2009 fROOTS
Issue 314/315 of the market leading folk,
roots & world music &magazine
FINAL DEADLINE REMINDER : this Friday, 19th June
Subscribers will start to receive theirs from around 17th July.
Street date is 23rd July.
Fresh from celebrating our 30th Anniversary, this is our special annual
Aug/Sept double issue with another of our ultra-collectable fRoots
CDs, on sale at all the key summer festivals like WOMAD (for
which we are media sponsor), Cambridge, Sidmouth, Towersey
etc.
Take advantage of the festival
season!
It has been widely predicted that folk, roots and world music festivals
will benefit this year as the recession causes cautious people to take less
holidays abroad, and indeed many events are already reporting strong advance
sales. Add to that the forecast for a hot UK summer and things look set for a
buoyant festival season: that means that the year's biggest CD outlets should do
good business. Give our ultra-keen readers a reminder of summer events they can
still book for, and the CDs they have been intending to buy!
