A glimpse into the lives of women in fishing ports all over the country, whose men hunted the fish. These women share a common experience of life dominated by the sea.
This beautifully moving set of musical pictures leads the audience gently through the traumas and joys of those left ashore. Through songs, mostly from the pen of Ron Baxter and Ross Campbell, and stories gathered by years of experience, Scold's Bridle will evokes tears and laughter.

We also have a new roving storyteller this year, plus the usual range of goodies for the family to enjoy, including free foyer performances, craft and food stalls, dance demonstrations and much more.
