Refreshing humour and serious singing from this eccentric and musically accomplished Australian male voice choir.  In 2006, they stormed the Towersey Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe singing folk, beautiful Georgian harmonies, untraditional versions of pop classics, and maudlin commentaries on being a bloke.

Genial buffonery and immaculate, testosterone drenched vocals define the Spooky Men’s Chorale, a ruthless bunch of larrikins based in the Blue Mountains of NSW, whose stated ambition is to make women cry, small children afraid, and real estate salesmen vaguely aware that somewhere, there is a world they’ve never experienced. Their repertoire ranges from a version of ‘Satisfaction’ that would delight but puzzle the ‘Rolling Stones’, to the hauntingly rich harmonies from Georgia.  Also included may be their own compositions such as ‘Don’t come between a man and his Tools’ and ‘Vote the Bastards Out’.
