Subject: More music...

Hiya
First a huge thanks to everyone for coming last night, another magical evening and I hope you liked the new layout.
Secondly just to let you know about some more music happening this weekend, I'm sorry it's short notice but Its been one of those weeks, and some I've only just found out about. Seth Lakeman is playing a charity concert in Folkestone tonight at the Quarterhouse venue. I've just been told there are tickets left for this and probably available on the door but you can phone and book on 01303 858500. I meant to mention it last night but it went out of my head like so many things. Tickets are £18 and there is a support.
Thirdy ... Thirdy?? I like that word. Thirdly a reminder, cos I have mentioned this already that Beau Webber is promoting a fabulous gig on Sunday at the Littlebourne Barn where he has top Irish fiddler Tommy Peoples and all details for that are on the Kent Folk website, or Beau on 01227 721736
Also today - Music and Merriement at Shorne Wood Country Park near Gravesend. Barber & Taylor are opening (5.30ish- 7.15ish) followed by The Bubble Band (featuring Krista from Phoenix).
There's also a music festival this weekend at The three Mariners, Oare, with Suggs and Paul Young and the Fat River Band amongst many others. You'll have to google for info as I don't have any more sorry (or time to look!)
Also Twilight Folk are putting on the mighty band Circulus at Orange Street Music club. Saturday 26th Sept. A truly amazing live band, think medieval meets psychedelic rock, and then some. Info from tofutastic_at_hotmail_dot_co_dot_uk

For all you west of the region, Spyboy has John Tams and Barry Coope at the Hailsham Pavilion on Sunday 27th Sept.
7th October at Faversham is James Keelaghan, fantastic singer songwriter from the (Canadian) Mid West - recommended by another FitBarner. Thanks Justin.

Then the talented and versatile Keith James with stand up bass Rick Foot, giving us a wonderful evening of songs from John Martyn and others - Sandy Denny, Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen. With support from brilliant young Luke Jackson. That's at the Kingston Barn, tickets £13 from me on 01227 831493 or online via the website www.folkinthebarn.co.uk And of course St Agnes Fountain at the ISC on 8th December, selling fast now especially after last night!
