My name's Nigel White, and I live in Boughton Monchelsea, just south of Maidstone. Trying to get a folk club started in the village, and have agreed with the landlord of the village pub a date of Sunday 11th October, from 7.30 pm in their restaurant, which is unused on a Sunday night. We'll start with a singer's night, but need singers and musicians to support. Don't want to get inundated as we can seat only 40, but it would be really helpful for support. I've passed the word at the Beacon in TW, but don't know many folk people in Maidstone.
