Just to remind you about our workshop this Sunday - along with a few other dancing opportunities during October!

Sunday 11th October 2009 - CAJUN & ZYDECO DANCE WORKSHOP with Kay Anderson

Gig-wise, there's two Jumbo Gumbo gigs coming up:

Monday 12th October 2009 at Walnut Tree (234 Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 8SR) at 9.00pm and

Saturday 17th October 2009 at Flower Pot (96 Sandling Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 2RJ) at 9.00pm

On Thursday 29th October 2009 it's the CAJUN & AMERICANA NIGHT at The HOOK & HATCHET
This time with ZIGAZAG CAJUN BAND (still officially TBC but looking good!). A fantastic chance to see one of the top UK trad. cajun outfits! The Hook & Hatchet can be found at Church Road, Hucking, Kent, ME17 1QT. Music from 9.00pm, food served from 6.00pm!

On Saturday 31st October 2009 PETITE ET LA GROSSE (another top UK traditional cajun band!  Aren't we lucky!) at Canterbury Festival (Festival Club, Canterbury Environment Centre, St Alphege’s Church off Palace St, Kent, CT1 2EB). 8.30pm start, tickets (£12) and more info from Canterbury Festival Box Office website http://www.canterburyfestival.co.uk/bt.asp or by phoning 01227 787787. Please note that this event is likely to sell out in advance.

Finally, October ends with Halloween and what better way to celebrate it than by going to HALLOWEEN SPECIAL with JUMBO GUMBO (31st Oct of course ;-) at the Bell & Jorrocks (Biddenden Rd, Frittenden, Cranbrook, Kent, TN17 2EJ) at 9.00pm
